1. if you have long enough extension, try rigging your 4.5 on a 370 tip/370 bottom.
2. you could try the 430 tip/370 bottom (which would give you 400cm length).
Let me know how it goes!

thank you for the email Dinh. I’ve got two suggestions for you to try:
http://www.ezzy.com/?page_id=108#comment-519

thanks for the message Ronald. The mix and match system works great on the masts up to a two size gap. At best, you could take your 490 tip and mix it with a 430 bottom. This would yield a 460cm mast.
I would advise you to get a different mast for your 5.0, as a 460cm mast is too long to get great performance out of the 5.0.
What other size sails do you have?

thanks for the message Ronald. The mix and match system works great on the masts up to a two size gap. At best, you could take your 490 tip and mix it with a 430 bottom. This would yield a 460cm mast.<br

I am planning to buy a Panther 2011 5.0M sail and would like to know which top could I use with my 4.9m base in order to rig the new 5.0M sail without buying a new whole set, if possible.
Thanks,Ronald, Dubai

Hi. I have a RDM 4.9m base and top, using Freeride 7.5M and 9.5M sails. Here is the most "down and dirty" configuration that I can drum up that should give you a great performing set up.5.5 – 400 tip/400 bottom (no problem. Kevin Pritchard uses this set up and really likes it)
4.7 - 400 tip/400 bottom – perfect set up
4.0 – 400 tip/340 bottom – this yields you a 370cm mast that should work great for this sail.

thanks for reaching out!
