The eco sail: The Legacy

The Legacy is built from remnant materials, the high-quality cloth left over from producing our other sails. Instead of letting that material go to waste, we turn it into a full-performance windsurfing sail. That's why Legacy color schemes change with every production run: we work with what we have. No two batches look the same, and we can't guarantee color availability. We think that's a fair trade for a sail that wastes nothing.

Less waste also means a lower price. The Legacy delivers the same Ezzy construction and quality control as every sail in our range. Every Legacy is rigged and inspected in our factory before it ships, at a more accessible price point.

In the latest version, David gave the Legacy a more controllable feel across a wider wind spectrum and made it stronger: high-density Spectra X Film on the tack panel and a combination of RBS epoxy battens and traditional battens.

The smaller sizes are designed for wave and bump & jump. The larger sizes are built for freeride blasting.

At the heart of it, the Legacy is ready for anyone, from the PWA circuit (Graham Ezzy's sail of choice for light-wind competition) to weekend sailors.
